Homemade Macaroni and Cheese

3 1/3 Cup Elbow Macaroni

4 tbsp Butter or Margarine

4 tbsp Flour

1 tbsp salt

1/2 tbsp White Pepper

3/4 tbsp Dry Mustard

3 1/2 cup Milk

8 dash Tabasco Sauce

5 Cup Cheddar Cheese – Sharp Grated

 

Topping

2 tbsp Butter or Margarine Melted

1/2 Cup Dry Bread Crumbs

1/4 tbsp Paprika

 

Cook Macaroni as directed on package.

 

Pour cooked Macaroni into 3qt baking dish

 

Melt butter in saucepan over low heat; blend in flour,

salt, pepper and mustard.

 

Add milk and Tabasco, cook over moderate heat, stirring constantly until

sauce is thick and smooth.

 

Remove sauce from heat; stir in cheese until melted.

 

Combine sauce with cooked macaroni in baking pan.

Mix together melted butter, crumbs and paprika.

 

Sprinkle over Macaroni and cheese.

Sprinkle over Garlic to taste.

Bake at 350° for 25-30min
